FAYETTE COUNTY, Iowa —

An eastern Iowa woman was arrested this week after driving with a missing car tire on Highway 18, KCRG reports .

At approximately 12:20 a.m. Wednesday, police were called to the 14000 block of Highway 18 for a report of a personal injury accident.

An investigation revealed a driver was traveling westbound on Highway 18 when one of the tires blew and came off of the car. The driver continued traveling westbound on the car’s rim until it eventually stopped in the 14000 block of Highway 18.

Police made contact with the driver, 23-year-old Tiffany Kelly of Dundee, and noticed she was showing signs of intoxication, according to authorities. Police also found multiple alcoholic beverage containers in the car.
