The NFL’s highest-paid offensive lineman will not be suiting up for the 2025 season.
On Thursday, Chargers left tackle Rashawn Slater was carted off the practice field after suffering a torn patellar tendon in his left knee while falling backward. The 26-year-old, two-time Pro Bowler recently signed a four-year, $114 million contract extension with the Chargers.
The $28.5 million owed to him annually is the highest for an offensive lineman in the league.
