EL DORADO, Kan. (KAKE) - A Rose Hill woman has been convicted of murder and other charges in connection to the death of her adopted 6-year-old daughter, who was found buried in the backyard of a Rose Hill home nearly a year ago.

Crystina Schroer appeared in Butler County court for a preliminary hearing on Friday. She pleaded no contest and was found guilty of second-degree murder, child abuse, making a false writing and theft. She will be sentenced on November 10.
