The federal government is reportedly taking aim at another one of President Donald Trump’s political enemies: Letitia James .

The New York Times reports that the Justice Department has issued two subpoenas to the state attorney general’s office in connection with an investigation into cases led by James. According to the outlet, the subpoenas are in relation to her office’s civil fraud case against Trump and his personal businesses as well as James’s suit against the National Rifle Association. Sources tell NBC News that the Justice Department’s newly launched inquiry is investigating whether James and her office violated the civil rights of any of the individuals pursued by her team.
