The Hanover Swim Club (HSC) had a proud and historic showing at the 2025 Ontario Swimming Championships (OSC) held July 9-12 at the world-class Toronto Pan Am Sports Centre.

This prestigious meet brings together the fastest swimmers in the province, with athletes required to achieve at least two provincial time standards to qualify.

HSC sent four talented swimmers to compete among Ontario’s best, and the youngest among them – 11-year-old Finn Oxby – made waves by bringing home two silver medals in breaststroke.

Oxby, who joined HSC for the 2024-2025 season after previously swimming with the Region of Waterloo Swim Club (ROW), competed in the 12 and under timed finals from July 10-12.
