YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) -- A man arrested on a gun charge Thursday had been on probation for his role in a 2021 robbery and abduction case.
Undrel Fletcher, 27, is expected to appear later Friday in municipal court on charges of being a felon in possession of a firearm, a third-degree felony, and improper handling of a firearm in a motor vehicle, a fourth-degree felony.
He is currently in the Mahoning County Jail.
Reports said Fletcher was the driver of a car that was pulled over about 6:40 p.m. at Hudson and West Indianola avenues for a traffic offense, and he appeared nervous when he was asked if he had a gun.
Fletcher later told police he had a gun in the center console that had belonged to his late father, reports said.
