PRAIRIE GROVE, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — Prairie Grove Mayor David Faulk has released details about an upcoming event in the city to raise funds for the family affected by the Devil's Den State Park double homicide.

Faulk said in a social media post on Aug. 6 that more than $80,000 had been raised for the Brink family.

Clinton David Brink, 43, and Cristen Amanda Brink, 41, were fatally stabbed on July 26 in West Fork. The couple had recently moved to Prairie Grove.

Faulk said that a community event will be held on Sept. 6.

"The Bean Boys will be serving food, and I will be working on some auction items. All funds raised through these programs will go directly to the family," Faulk said.
