BREATHITT COUNTY, Ky. (ABC36 NEWS NOW) — Kentucky State Police have arrested two men in connection to a shooting that left a woman seriously injured Thursday night in the Jackson community of Breathitt County.

Troopers from KSP Post 13 in Hazard responded to the scene on KY-30 West around 8:26 p.m. Thursday, after a 911 call reported a shooting. When officers arrived, they found a female victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. EMS crews provided life-saving care before airlifting her to the University of Kentucky Medical Center. She is currently listed in stable condition.
