A video released by a Colorado county shows sheriff's deputies saving a driver who had crashed into a retaining wall last month after apparently overdosing.

The crash took place on July 28 in the 11900 block of E. Arapahoe Rd. Authorities said the man crashed his car into a retaining wall. He was unconscious when the officers arrived.

"Deputies removed him from the car and noticed his pinpoint pupils and shallow breathing. Inside the car, they found fentanyl, heroin, alcohol, and marijuana," the Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office said in a post on X.

The officers administered two doses of Narcan, and performed CPR until paramedics arrived. At the time, the victim began to breathe again and a pulse was restored. He was then transported to the hospital.
