LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Officials with the U.S. Department of Education said Secretary of Education Linda McMahon will visit Arkansas the week of Aug. 11 as part of a national tour.
Officials said the Arkansas visit is part of the department's Returning Education to the States tour. The tour plans for state-by-state stops for McMahon to hear from students, teachers and school leaders about education models and reforms.
Louisiana and Tennessee are also on the secretary’s schedule for the week of Aug. 11.
