The Vine 102.5 FM, a nonprofit Christian radio station, is holding a drive in southwest Riverside County to collect bottled water for a food pantry and for fire crews.

The station’s fifth annual Operation Hydration drive began with a collection event Aug. 7 at Bluewater Grill in Temecula.

The drive continues with collection events Aug. 14 at Blitzer’s Premium Frozen Yogurt, 29101 Newport Road, Suite 103, Menifee; Aug. 21 at New Venture Escrow, 43398 Business Park Drive, Temecula; and Aug. 28 at WSDM Water, 39872 Los Alamos Road, Suite A-6, Murrieta. All run from 4 to 6 p.m.

The goal is to collect 10,000 bottles of water to benefit families through Mission Hope food pantry in Temecula and to support local fire crews working in extreme heat this summer, according to a news release from Th
