CHARLOTTE (CAROLINA SPORTS LIVE) -- After 215 days without Panthers football (who's counting?), the wait is finally over. The Carolina Panthers are back in action Friday, hosting the Cleveland Browns at Bank of America Stadium for their first preseason game of the year.

Both teams are kicking off their preseason schedules, and all eyes will be on Browns rookie quarterback Shedeur Sanders as he takes the field in Charlotte for the first time.

The Panthers and Browns have already spent the week in joint practices leading up to Friday night’s game.
