A family source told the Daily Mail that Mark Gibbon, 62, of Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire, had been in a romantic relationship with hairdresser Jasmine Wyld, 33, for the past two years, and the pair regularly went on family holidays together.

Mr Gibbon, a lighting supplier to the film and TV industry and who is divorced from Alex’s mother, was on holiday near Disney World in Florida with Ms Wyld and her children.
