The Town of Huntington, in conjunction with the Greenlawn Civic Association (GCA) will begin phase one of a comprehensive construction project to enhance vehicle, pedestrian, and bicyclist safety along Broadway in Greenlawn. This public safety project is the result of the Town of Huntington and the GCA receiving a JumpStart Grant from Suffolk County totaling $650,000 in 2023. After collaborating with Town Engineers and Transportation & Traffic Safety Departments to develop design concepts and details, and after public meetings with the Greenlawn community, the first part of the project is set to begin.
