PHOENIX (AZFamily) — A Tucson man will spend nearly three decades behind bars for attempting to murder his former bosses at a Phoenix office.
Zane Hammond, 34, was sentenced to 29 years after pleading guilty to two counts of attempted murder.
In Nov. 2023, Hammond, who was a commercial truck driver in Tucson, drove to the United Freight Services headquarters in Phoenix armed with a shotgun. Court documents state that Hammond had abruptly quit his job with United Freight Services after management reprimanded Hammond for his hygiene and for not following the rules of driving a commercial vehicle.
