Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene , a Georgia Republican , hit back after Fox News host Mark Levin reportedly called her "an absolute lunatic with an IQ of a snail" in response to her opposition to American support for Israel in its ongoing war with Hamas .

Appearing on the conservative-leaning Real America's Voice network on Thursday, Greene described Levin as "Israel first, not America first" and said Fox News "better start paying attention" as their audience is "very much up in age."

When contacted by Newsweek for comment, Fox News declined.

Newsweek also contacted Greene for comment via email on Friday outside of regular office hours.
