CAÑON CITY, Colo. (KKTV) - A barricaded suspect in Cañon City was arrested after an hours-long standoff on Thursday evening.

According to the Cañon City Police Department, officers were called out just before 4:40 p.m. to the 900 block of Mulberry Avenue on a report of a verbal disturbance. Police said neighbors told them they’d overheard the suspect, 42-year-old Jacob Feezor, making threats toward “unknown persons.”

CCPD said officers also determined that Feezor had multiple warrants for violent offences involving weapons.

Officers attempted to talk Feezor into coming out of the home but were unsuccessful. Police said they were able to see Feezor in the home at this time and it appeared he was holding something police believed looked like a handgun.
