TRENTON – It’s not yet a household name, but the Quinte Museum of Natural History may well be one of the Quinte area’s most promising attractions.

And, if you’re lucky, you may even find dinosaurs here.

Opened in 2022, the facility is still in its startup phase.

It has some big-name supporters, and was created as the first step toward creating a much larger facility, one its leaders say could become a major part of the local tourist economy.

It’s housed in the former Morton Parker Ltd. building on Dufferin Avenue. The museum is the brainchild of Peter May, founder of Trenton-based Research Casting International (RCI). The company is a world leader in fossil preparation, restoration, mounting, and much more. The museum also works closely with Toronto’s Royal Ontario
