CHESTER – The Philadelphia Union’s 2025 marathon is down to two sprints. The first commences Saturday night at Subaru Park.

The Union have five games in what’s left of August, beginning with a visit from Toronto FC Saturday night (7:30 p.m., AppleTV). They play five times in 21 days, including a midweek U.S. Open Cup quarterfinal postponed from July against the New York Red Bulls. Three games are at home, plus a bus trip to Harrison next weekend and a flight to FC Cincinnati.

It’s a chance for the Union (15-5-5, 50 points) to consolidate their placement atop the MLS standings, still alive in three competitions this season.
