A teenage girl who aspired to be a paediatric nurse has saved the lives of five strangers after signing up to the organ donor register weeks before her sudden death.
Megan Hilton, described as having a "kind soul" whose "masterplan" was to go to university and care for others, suffered a brain aneurism "completely out of the blue" and died in hospital six days later.
A couple of months before her death, the 17-year-old from Bootle , told her dad, David Hilton, that she had ticked on her driving license application that she wanted to donate her organs.
