WEST CHESTER, Ohio (WXIX) -The West Chester Splash Park is temporarily closed until further notice due to ‘operational issues’ and concerns raised by residents about injuries and safety, according to West Chester Township officials.
Officials state that their team has collaborated extensively with the manufacturer and other stakeholders since the beginning to address issues related to maintenance, operations, and safety.

“The manufacturer has assured the Township that the equipment is safe to operate. However, we feel that closing the park is the right decision,” township officials said.
Township officials did not provide details about what happened.
They have also not provided a reopening date at this time.
