Temperatures are expected to be high from now through the weekend, according to the National Weather Service, so now is the best time to start preparing for the heat.

Stay hydrated and cool

Although it may seem obvious, this point cannot be overlooked.

The best way to do this is by staying out of the sun for long periods of time and by staying in places with air conditioning.

Drinking water and electrolyte drinks will also help prevent heat exhaustion.
