PINE RIVER — Happy Dancing Turtle in Pine River has two August events celebrating the summer season's bounty.
As the availability of fresh, local produce ramps up, it can be easy to feel overwhelmed by the abundance and food may inadvertently go to waste.
From 6:30-8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 12, take part in a class on food waste reduction to learn tips, share ideas and take part in a hands-on activity focused on using scraps from fresh produce.
