Old rivals Nevada and Boise State will meet on an October Friday night to renew a series that began before the Wolf Pack was even a member of the Big Sky. But will it the final meeting between the teams?
A loaded Broncos team will be looking to leave the Mountain West with another conference title before it heads off to the Pac-12 next season. For Nevada, the game is circled not only for the rivalry aspect, but because a win over Boise State would be the sort of monumental upset that would be talked about for as long as the school plays football (for reference, see the teams’ legendary 2010 game).
It could also be a final chance for the Wolf Pack in a series it trails, 32-14. The teams currently do not have any future games scheduled.
