A Nashville SC team very much in the hunt for three prestigious trophies may soon get a boost from the return of a talented offensive player.
Forward Tyler Boyd won’t play in the team’s game Saturday at St. Louis City SC, but is likely to make his 2025 debut in the very near future, per NSC coach B.J. Callaghan.
“I fear to use the word day-to-day, but he’s close,” Callaghan said. “It’s a welcomed player that we’re expecting back soon that can only add to the competition piece [of the roster], and bolster our team as we kind of grow through this final phase.”
The 30-year-old Boyd has been rehabbing after suffering a torn ACL in July 2024 during a 3-0 loss to Orlando City SC at Geodis Park. He had contributed two goals and three assists in 21 games up to that point in the season, whi
