BERRY FIRE BURNS IN NAPA COUNTY

A vegetation fire Friday morning has burned about 50 acres north of Lake Berryessa in Napa County, according to Cal Fire.

The blaze dubbed the Berry Fire was reported at about 10:50 a.m. in the area of Berryessa Knoxville Road.

Cal Fire officials described it as having a “moderate rate of spread” with 0% containment as of late Friday morning and said crews are fighting the flames from both the air and ground.
