Missouri football held its ninth practice of preseason camp Thursday, which means Mizzou has now passed the halfway point of its scheduled practices before moving into gameweek preparation for its opener Thursday, Aug. 28 against Central Arkansas in Columbia.

Local media were able to watch Periods 2-7 of the practice, allowing for an approximate 30-minute viewing period, and that portion looked a lot like the ones that came before it.

The defensive backs ran through some interception drills, where a walk-on quarterback threw pickable passes into the back corner of the end zone with no other offensive players present. The wide receivers worked on second-level release
