A section of the ceiling at the renowned Sailors Club in Newquay, Cornwall, collapsed while patrons were enjoying a night out. The incident occurred during a Boardmasters after party as the club was closing. ‌

The collapse, which is believed to have happened around 3.30am on Friday, August 8, prompted a response from the Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service as a precautionary measure. Fortunately, no one was injured and all those inside the building were safe . ‌
