As the platform prepares to bid farewell to Outlander in its eighth and final season early next year, the prequel series details the origin stories of the parents of Jamie Fraser (played by Sam Heughan) and Claire Randall (Caitriona Balfe), fan-favorite characters of the original show based on Diana Gabaldon’s book.
