The Forrest County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in locating 59-year-old Darwin Harris, who has been reported missing.

Harris was last seen on Friday, August 1, 2025, leaving his apartment at 4507 U.S. Highway 49, just south of Hattiesburg. He told others he was traveling to Jackson, Mississippi, for a conference, but has not been seen or heard from since.

Authorities say Harris is a Black male, 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighing approximately 260 pounds. He is bald, wears glasses, and is a veteran living with PTSD, anxiety, and depression. There is no available clothing description.

He is believed to be driving a blue four-door car, though the make and model are unknown.
