LOWVILLE, N.Y. (WWTI) - Residents in Lewis County looking for information about events and services have a new way platform.

The county's official Facebook page announced the debut episode of the "Tapped Into Lewis County" podcast earlier this week. The show is hosted by the county's Community Engagement Specialist Kaylee Rhodes and will cover a variety of topics.

Rhodes said she started the podcast due to the fast-paced world that people live in.

We recognize that people in today's world are incredibly busy. Attending meetings or reading lengthy recaps and reports isn't always feasible. We believe the podcast can help create awareness of what's happening at the local government level in a more accessible and engaging way.

The premiere episode will cover how temporary assistance works.
