Canarm Ltd., one of Brockville’s preeminent industries, formally broke ground on its latest almost-3,000-square-metre (32,000-square-foot) warehouse expansion of its facility at Ormond Street and Parkedale Avenue on Friday morning.

The addition expands the company’s current facility which already has almost 18,580 square metres (200,000 square feet) of space.

The early morning ceremony was benign with muted sunshine and the distant cry of seagulls as 100 plus employees came out to the grounds to cheer on their company’s latest success.
