Funding of more than $13 million through the Ontario government’s Skills Development Fund Training and Capital Streams will help more than 1,000 workers and job-seekers in Sudbury and surrounding areas to prepare for in-demand jobs in boilermaking, welding, mining and ironworking sectors, a provincial cabinet minister said during a visit to the city on Friday afternoon.
