Four Vietnamese men have been jailed after a multi-million pounds drug factory was uncovered at a former bed factory in Kirklees.

Officers found cannabis plants worth about £2.4 million inside the building on Quarry road in Gomersal last month.

They also found already cut and prepared cannabis thought to be worth around £1 million.

All four were arrested in the large scale operation, taken into police custody, and later charged.

They were found guilty of conspiracy to produce a Class B drug.

Hoai Le Thanh, 41, was sentenced to three years, seven months in prisonn.

Hoa Hoang, 64, Thanh Le, 37, and Khang Nguyen, 29, were both jailed for 30 months each.

Inspector Charlotte Nicholls of the Batley and Spen Neighbourhood Policing Team, said it was a sophisticated operation.
