Citizens wanting a say in their city government have that chance on municipal election day, August 26, in most Alabama cities. But to exercise that say, you must be registered to vote. For a person not registered, the deadline is Monday, August 11.

Those preferring to register in person should go on Monday during business hours to their county voter registrar's office, often located in the county courthouse.
Registration is needed by the Monday deadline if you:
1. Register to vote for the first time
2. Change/Update your voting information (name, address, etc.)
3. Re-register to vote if you’ve been removed from the active voter list for any reason
