Police around the country insist that they are well prepared – ahead of a series of planned protests outside asylum hotels over the weekend.

Police chiefs warned that they were ready to “mobilise significant and specialist resources” if any violence breaks out… one of tomorrow’s demonstrations has been called at a hotel in Leeds.
