LAS VEGAS ( FOX5 ) — The father of Jonathan Lewis Jr. , a student who died after a violent assault, is suing the Clark County School District over the teen’s death.

According to the lawsuit, Jonathan Lewis, the father of Lewis Jr., 17, accuses the Clark County School District of negligence, saying the district failed to respond to known threats and risks and failed to properly train teachers and staff to prevent bullying and violence and to follow school discipline laws.
