A young girl was reunited with her family after spending over a century separated from them.
The remains of the girl were discovered Tuesday afternoon while crews were working on clearing the site of the former Kings Club Casino on the Bay Mills Indian Community.
Paula Carrick, Tribal Historic Preservation Officer at Bay Mills, went to the site to investigate further on what she has known for over two decades; it was a young Waiskey girl who passed away in the early 1900s.
