LANSING, Mich. (WILX) - A Lansing man faces multiple felony charges for possession of drugs and guns, officials told News 10 Friday afternoon.

Walter Triplett, 50, was charged with possessing a gun as a felon, as well as cocaine and meth.

Triplett is considered a habitual offender with a fourth offense notice. He had been previously convicted of unarmed robbery in Jackson County in 2000, drug possession in Jackson County in 2006, and drug possession in Berrien County in 2008.

Triplett was arraigned on the following charges:

Possession of cocaine with intent to deliver

Possession of methamphetamine with intent to deliver

Possession of firearm by prohibited person, due to past felony drug conviction

Possession of ammunition, prohibited person

Three counts of felony firearm
