A Halloween-themed dance party, raising money toward replacing aging diagnostic imaging equipment at Sarnia’s hospital, is planned for October.

Monster’s Ball is the latest initiative from the Bluewater Health Foundation, the charity that raises funds for hospital equipment and projects not covered by government funding.

The event for people 19 and older is Oct. 17, 7 p.m. to midnight at DeGroot’s Nurseries in Sarnia, and features specialty drinks, costume prizes, catering by Grind Kitchen, and a video dance party by the community’s Ian Alexander, said foundation executive director Kathy Alexander.
