Work on Pittsburgh Regional Transit’s $291 million University Line project will disrupt several streets in Oakland this weekend as the agency continues its effort to link the neighborhood with Downtown.
North Bouquet Street, which serves several of the University of Pittsburgh’s academic buildings, will close to through traffic between Fifth Avenue and O’Hara Street from 6 a.m. Saturday to 6 a.m. Monday.
Sidewalks and crosswalks will remain open and local commuters will still be able to access the street’s buildings and parking garage, PRT said in a release.
The intersection of Fifth Avenue and Thackeray Avenue, including the sidewalks and crosswalks, will be closed to all traffic between 6 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Saturday as workers conduct milling and paving. Motorists will not be able to
