An Edmonton Police Service vehicle with a ride-along passenger was involved in a two-vehicle collision Thursday afternoon in north Edmonton.

EPS communications adviser Cheryl Voordenhout told Postmedia a police vehicle was conducting a ride-along with a passenger in the back seat, with sirens and lights active, when they collided with a civilian vehicle at the intersection of 118 Avenue and 97 Street.

Voordenhout confirmed the three passengers of the police vehicle, including the ride-along passenger, and the driver of the civilian vehicle, a 39-year-old man, were all transported to hospital with non-life-threatening Injuries.
