After being inducted into their Hall of Fame and seeing his No. 12 jersey retired by the team, Tom Brady received yet another honor from the New England Patriots. On Friday, the organization unveiled a 12-foot statue — a nod to Brady’s old jersey number — at Patriot Place Plaza.
The festivities took place ahead of the Patriots’ preseason opener against the Washington Commanders and featured speeches from franchise owner Robert Kraft as well as the man of the hour himself, Tom Brady.
“There’s a saying. People will forget what you said. People will forget what you did. But they will never forget how you made them feel. And for two decades, Tom Brady made the Patriots feel invincible,” said Kraft.
