SIOUX CITY (KTIV) - Friday was hot and humid with highs near 90 degrees. A cold front is on the way Friday night and will bring “cooler” weather until the middle of next week.

A weak cold front arrives tonight. Mostly cloudy with a few isolated thunderstorms possible, especially after midnight. A Marginal Risk for severe weather. Main threat is quarter size hail and 60mph winds. Overnight lows near 70.

Tomorrow

A few thunderstorms will be possible before lunchtime, especially in far eastern Siouxland. One or two could be strong. There’s a Marginal Risk for severe thunderstorms in the far southeastern corner of the KTIV viewing area. Temperatures will be much cooler with some sunshine by afternoon. Highs in the middle 80s.
