Nicholas Alexander Chavez is breaking his silence after he was cut from I Know What You Did Last Summer .

Before the new movie hit theaters last month, director Jennifer Kaytin Robinson revealed that an opening scene that featured the 25-year-old Emmy-winning actor and Lola Tung had been cut from the final version of the movie .

While stepping out for Variety’s Power of Young Hollywood Party on Thursday (August 7), Nicholas shared his thoughts on being cut from the movie and addressed the possibility of returning for a possible sequel.

“I mean, Jennifer is a good friend. She’s really, really cool people, and, you know, me and Lola had a really, really good time,” Nicholas told Us Weekly . “But, like, look — that’s filmmaking.”
