1. The fourth White Rock Night Market takes place tonight (Aug. 8) on the promenade at Memorial Park. Held at the waterfront one Friday a month since May, the 3-10 p.m. market aims "to celebrate community through food, entertainment, local artisans and more," according to information at explorewhiterock.com .

Tonight's market is to feature DJ Bruce spinning dance hits; a bevy of food trucks offering a variety of tasty fare; and some two dozen artisans showcasing their goods.

If you've been waiting to check out the market, keep in mind tonight's is the second-to-last of the 2025 season. The final event is to take place on Sept. 5.
