A woman in her 60s has died after being pulled from the sea at Skegness beach. Emergency services were called at 5.39pm on Friday, August 8, following reports of a person in the sea.
Once emergency services including the Coastguard, RNLI, Lincolnshire Police and East Midlands Ambulance Service were called to the scene, and found a woman in her 60s had got in difficulty at sea. The woman was brought to shore but died at the scene.
A spokesperson from the RNLI confirmed CPR was carried out on a person at the beach. Her next of kin have been informed.
