Actually, Hank Hill, that boy is right. The King of the Hill revival has a lot going for it, from how Kathy Najimy’s Peggy pronounces “Saudi Arabia” to the consistency of Hank’s (Mike Judge) presentation as a well-meaning conservative man who is willing to embrace incremental change if he can see the logic in it. Peggy being charmingly overconfident and Hank realizing that the world is moving around him, and that he can choose to catch up to it if he wants, were core elements of King of the Hill ’s original run that this new season honors. But there’s one big change to the 14th season, and it’s also the best one: Bobby Hill grew up.
