SUNSET PARK — THREE MEMBERS OF CONGRESS, including Adriano Espaillat from Harlem and Brooklyn’s Nydia Velazquez and Dan Goldman, were denied entry to Metropolitan Detention Center in Sunset Park by ICE on Wednesday, according to a release from Goldman’s office. The representatives were seeking to inspect reportedly inhumane conditions for over 100 immigrant detainees. They were joined by advocates from the ACLU, NYIC and NYCLU.
