By all accounts Elijah Caden Hennessey was a remarkable child, who enjoyed life even as he faced a daily struggle to survive. The seven-year-old was born with heterotaxy, a rare form of congenital heart disease which had necessitated numerous trips to local hospitals as well as Sick Kids Hospital in Toronto.
